No child should be comfortable with being an underachiever. But unfortunately there are many, and this is partially due to how society tries to make things easier through machines and technology. As things become simpler and easier, people become lazier, and we teach this laziness to our younger generations and they teach it in kind. The purpose behind this book is to try and inspire some imagination and self motivation in the reader, before it is completely bred out of the human race. Children should understand and believe that they can enjoy themselves without spending eighteen hours a day in front of a television or computer screen. They also need to believe that they can learn and achieve without the use of such devices, and even do better without them. They need to understand and believe that living in a way that is completely co-dependant on computer technology can be both wasteful and harmful in excess. They must learn for themselves that there is a better way. A way that is perhaps hidden within themselves.
